ABOUT ME
Hi there! My name is Marjaana. I’m a professional photographer, social media influencer & entrepreneur hailing from the enchanting deep forests of Kainuu, Northern Finland. I have dedicated myself to photography full-time since 2014, forsaking a career in Information Technology to pursue my true passion.
We spent two years adventuring in Swiss Alps with my family, but now we have settled back in Finland and living our dream in Oulu, the capital of Northern Finland.
My goal is to live sustainable and climate smart lifestyle. Experiencing nature and traveling in a eco-friendly way is something I really enjoy. As of late, I have embarked on a journey of studying sustainability and circular economics.

MY WORK
Some of my recent work and collaborations have been outdoor photography of adventuring dogs for Hurtta Collection and outdoor and nature photography for Visit Finland, Metsähallitus, Visit Espoo and Unicef Finland. I’ve also created branded content for example to Visit Finland, Finavia, Fazer, Hossa National Park, Telia, Reima, Népra and Hälsans Kök. My image has also been selected in the cover of RETKI – magazine and a full page image to Tähdet ja avaruus - magazine.
